Tain DCE Cuts Sod for Cassava Processing Factory at Adamu -tainnews.com

The District Chief Executive for Tain Hon Dr Lucy Acheampong today cuts sod for Cassava Processing Factory sited at Adamu.
The Factory is jointly sponsored by BOK Africa, IOM UN Migration, GIZ and Germany Corporation, a Ghanaian-German Centre. Speaking under the occasion, the DCE expressed her profound gratitude to the various Development partners who made it possible to have such a befitting Factory Tain to argument government structural industrial move in the country particularly on 1D1F initiative .
She further stated that, Tain is a cosmopolitan zone which will call for more Factories to serve the various zones. In this account, efforts will be made to ensure that every zone benefit from other related factory in the District with a popular flagship agenda as ‘1Z1F’.
In addressing the issue of employability, she said, over 200 youth have registered to engage them in Cassava farming which will readily serve the Factory as well.
The project Director for Factory, Mr. Floria Braendi of IOM UN Migration thanked the Community members for preparing the grounds for the project. He promised to create sustainable livelihood support for young migrants as well as the venerable in the society. He called for a community support to win the interest of all those who have stake in the Factory for it is a community led project.
On signing the agreement note, the Odikro of Adamu; thanked government and the various partners for sponsoring this laudable initiative in the area. He pledge their total support for a smooth take off of the project.
Hon.Dr.Lucy commissioned a borehole project started by former MP as well .
